19th Century Mexican Military Parade Saddle Sterling Silver all OVER !!!!
An Amazing saddle with terrific Leather Thread Work
Stamped under the Left side rear flap is the following:
Francisco Martinez Solis (maker)
La Abeja Talabarteria (The Bee Saddlery)
Bajos De Portacoeli No=10 (location)
It is about 30" fore to aft, 39" top of saddle horn to bottom of stirrup in current configuration, and about 13.5" wide at the back of the seat
I purchased this saddle at auction several years ago near LaCygne KS.... the estate had a particular interest in  Pancho Villa and Similar... The Saddle had a Military Sword model 1840 covered in Leather (being sold at auction in a separate listing) and a Bridle and Bit with Silver Conchos  (Also being sold in a separate Listing)
CONDITION: There is some wear through on some of the tread work, some light edge wear to the leather, but the leather is still surprisingly supple.. for a saddle over 120 years old, this is a GREAT example.. see the pictures and ask questions please
I cannot pack or ship this item, but will work with your selected packer and shipper regarding availability for pick-up etc..... listed as pick up ONLY
